01. Defination of interaction

First of all, he introduced what he thought of interaction design. Interaction designers define it by asking three questions.

The first is how do you do, which is not a polite greeting, but a real question about how you do in the world.

The second question is how do you feel, which lists people’s feelings after action.

The third question is how do you do Know, this question is to ask what people are thinking and how to think.

Then he listed different forms of vending machines to explain the different nature of thinking that map and path bring to people. Map will attract people to think about many things. Path’s way of thinking is more efficient but single.

02. Feedback controlling system

Then we introduce the feedback controlling system. We design the controller by combining the feedback given by the actual events with the external objectives, which is the focus of the system design.

03. 3 thinking ways

Next, we introduce three ways of thinking. One is to think by doing things with hands. The other is to think by seeing things and express ourselves by using vision. Some people are symbolic thinkers, and they can express themselves by words.

Then Bill introduces that according to symbolic thinking, people will gradually develop typewriters into smart computers, artificial intelligence, and then make the use of computers more intuitive, convenient and beautiful through visual thinking, which can be summarized as very user-friendly.In addition, Bill explains the value of handmade products through various examples, which is a more active and specific interaction.

05.Computers are more than just tools

Finally, Bill believes that computers are more of a medium than tools
